If you want better help, you should let people know what desktop you're using, and what net app, and password app you are running. These locations will probably be different for you, unless you use KDE4. I don't like to use a wallet for public wifi passwords, because they are, like, public, right? why would I want them in my wallet? On KDE, we have a wallet now, that's a real pain in the rear sometimes if you want to add a connection, or edit one. Sometimes I have to get in there and twiddle with some settings, the first place as root, the second as my normal user. ~/.kde/share/apps/networkmanagement/secrets I use Network-manager and settings for networks are stored in two places: Sometimes when I use public wifi I have issues after people change the SSID or network name, for instance now and then they decide to go all upper case or lower case, or they change other settings for whatever reason.
